Frequently Asked Questions
Can this hose handle compressed air at 10 bar?
Yes. The standard EPDM air & water hose is rated for 10-25 bar working pressure depending on size and reinforcement. For high-cyclic air service, specify the steel-wire-reinforced variant for longer fatigue life.
Is EPDM suitable for outdoor exposure?
Yes. EPDM has excellent ozone and UV resistance and is the preferred compound for outdoor industrial service. It does not crack or degrade like SBR or natural rubber when exposed to sunlight and weather.
Can I use this hose for chemicals?
EPDM is compatible with many mild chemicals, acids and alkalis. It is NOT compatible with petroleum oils, fuels or solvents. For oil service use NBR; for solvents contact our engineers for compound selection.
What colors are available?
Standard colors are black, red, blue and yellow. Custom colors are available for OEM branding and fluid identification (e.g. red for fire, blue for water, yellow for gas). MOQ applies for custom colors.
Do you cut to length and assemble fittings?
Yes. We supply cut lengths, pre-fitted with camlock, Bauer, flange or threaded fittings per your BOM. Send your assembly specification for a quotation.
